Newly Resurrected, corporategirl is back, and better than ever!

I work for a large corporation with a global presence. I never really wanted to do this sort of thing, but here I am with a skillset to match.

The way I see it, I can say I still haven't decided what I want to be when I grow up - at 32 years old - and say this is just a job, even though I've been here for 7 years or I can say that this is my default career, and though it may change down the road, for now, I'm going to embrace being a corporate girl.

Hubby - my hubby
Ben - my boss, a mere 4 months older than me
John - our department's Vice President and Ben's boss
Ann - the director who works for John and oversees the department
Chandra - my partner in crime across the isle
Caren - longtime coworker - new office politics confidante
Ken - a loveable old coworker
Dee - was one of our team, but has since turned into an east coast office snob
Jean - the lovable office gossip
The Clique - the not so lovable office gossips
The Three Cs:
CFO - ~~who is nice in meetings but mean to me~~ Resigned and replaced with a nice guy - don't know him though.
D - ~~his assistant~~ gone with old CFO
COO - ~~who only comes out of the woodwork for large corporate meetings~~ Retired
C - his incredibly demanding and bitchy assistant
CEO - ~~our big cheese at the top and part-time celeb hobnobber~~ Now retired/resigned and replaced with a seasoned CEO with heavy branding experience. Sort of a plain jane speaker but very knowledgable and a different but equally compelling vision
B - ~~his assistant...so busy, she has her own assistants~~ gone with former CEO, I presume
Well, that's interesting - I hadn't really thought about the fact that we'd had complete turnover at that level in the last two years. It's good to shake things up a little.

A note to prospective friends of this journal: I'm a big fan of themed journals and typically like to keep my friends list for themed journals on subject. Feel free to add me to your list, but just know going in that if I don't add you back, it's not because your journal isn't interesting, but because it isn't a corporate business themed journal (and who really has one of those besides me?). Chances are relatively slim that I'll do any sort of filtered entries anyway, so anyone on my Friends Of list should have access to everything.
